Wives in Bay Village have taken their safety into their own hands. Ladies are learning the right way to own a mind-set, and discover approaches to sidestep danger and defend themselves when the situation cannot be avoided.

Kerry McCafferty, an FBI agent in Cleveland says "People have to realize that there are evil people out there who are looking for victims" . McCafferty goes on to say "ninety-five percent of the time, your gut is instinct is correct".
Of course, most loved ones are fortunate enough really never to see or be involved in a violent crime. Although agent McCafferty goes on to disclose "I'm not asking you to be paranoid, but as a victim, you can either be helpless, or be a victim who fights back".

He added that most criminals either would like your body, your cash, or your life. It's important to consider what you would do, and what you are capable of doing, in that sort of situation.

"You react the way you are trained" he stated. Being attentive to your surroundings, and walking with self-belief will help keep possible attackers away. Attackers look for easy targets, who aren't paying any attention to what is happening around them.

Do not hike down dark alleys by yourself. Each time have someone go with you. Really never hitch hike.

For the most part people's refelxive reaction to an attack are either flight, fight, or freeze. If you do not prepare to have programmed responses, you will freeze if taken all of sudden.
