Beatrix Potter whose real first name was in fact Helen, was an British writer as well as illustrator who was most commonly known regarding her kid's books featuring animal figures such as in the children's classic -- The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Beatrix was in fact born into a honored family in which she was taught by private teachers and for that reason grew up isolated from other children. She previously had a lot of domestic pets and spent holidays in Scotland and also the Lake District where she developed a love of the landscape, flora and fauna, all of which she meticulously viewed and painted. Her mother and father discouraged her intellectual development as a youthful woman, however her study and paintings of fungi ended in her being extensively well known in the area of mycology. This caused a rift with her parents, whom disapproved of her getting married to someone of lower social standing. Sadly however, Warne passed away before the marriage ceremony. Ultimately Beatrix Potter began writing and illustrating childrens publications full time. With the earnings from her books, she became financially independent of her parents and was eventually able to purchase Hill Top Farm in the Lake District. She fully extended the property with various other acquisitions over time. In her forties, Beatrix married William Heelis, a local solicitor. She finished up becoming a sheep breeder and also farmer while continuing to write and illustrate books for children. In total she published twenty-three publications. Beatrix past away on the twenty second of December, 1943, and donated the vast majority of her possessions to the National Trust. Her publications carry on selling well globally, in several languages. Her stories have been retold in a variety of formats which include a ballet, films, along with animation. Such is her worldwide recognition, and also that of the characters from her books, that many Beatrix Potter Figurines were made.
