When looking at creating a fun staff party there are a number basic ingredients that will ensure your work party is a smash hit. Theme - Give your work party idea a theme. Think about some of the things that are popular at the time and create a similar theme around it. For example reality TV programs are popular at the moment. Master Chef, Idol or even Dancing With the Stars can easily be used as a theme for a fun, interactive team based work party. Often when you go to staff work parties it is the same people having the same conversation. By placing people into teams with those that they don't normally interact with and providing them with an opportunity to socialise in a different way your staff will not only be having fun, but they will also build relationships with other staff who they might not normally have connected with. Lead Up Activities - To help get staff excited and wanting to attend the staff party make sure that you run a number of little activities in the lead up. If you are using team based games it works well to provide staff with opportunities to discover who else is on their team. This also helps in developing some team spirit.
