Webster’s defines Copywriting as a writer of copy for advertisements or promotion releases. To succeed in the Network Marketing Industry, leaders define Copywriting as, a foundational core ability that you must master in order to succeed. Mastery of the ability of copywriting evolves over time. The more you study, practice and include it in your writing, advertising and marketing materials, the better you’ll get at it; and the more rewards you will reap. In today's blog entry I will cover seven tips, 10 emotion reaching magical words and reveal the hundred greatest headlines. Seven Tips 1. KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid is your best strategy to reach the masses. 2. Use shorter and older words as you want to make sure that you are understood by as many people as possible. In other words, write for the lowest grade level possible. 3. You may be wondering, how do I find out what grade level I am writing at? In Microsoft Word, you can go to the tools menu, click on options, under spelling and grammar, and look for show readability index. Your copy of Microsoft Word may be slightly different, however you get the main idea. 4. As you write your copy you should think about the prospect and not your product. If you focus on their problem and the solution to their problem, versus your product, your prospect will see you differently and connect with you. You will also see your sales multiply. 5. Make sure that your copy identifies and solves their problem. Always remind them of the problem that is causing them pain. Next, share the solution to fixing the problem as people will do more to avoid pain than to experience pleasure. 6. Back up the claims that you make as nobody buys unless they have belief. 7. Each day we are flooded with e-mails promoting different deals and programs etc. Create a folder and save all of the subject lines, headlines and ads that catch your attention and use them as templates for your future Copywriting needs. 10 Emotion reaching magical words 1.
