Is the Age of Aquarius the End or the Beginning?

The Age of Aquarius is an exciting phenomenon for astrologers. It is the new age in the astrological cycle. Currently, the world is in the Age of Pisces as most experts agree. Based on the theory of the Age of Aquarius, it will start on December 21, 2012, the last day of the Mayan Long Count calendar.

The concept of the Age of Aquarius is very vague to someone who does not know astrology. To make it simpler, each of the 12 astrological signs has an age linked with it. There is also a belief that the Aquarian Age is the start of a New Age where a swing in global consciousness will occur. The theory is based on an apocalyptic vocabulary that dates back to the 1950s.

There are still plenty of theories about the Aquarian Age that up until today, scholars are persist debating over which theory is correct. It is armageddon on 2012 for some while others said it is the start of elevated consciousness. Finally, Christians believe that 2012 is the day that Christ will return again.
