Licensed Practical Nurses are also known as Licensed Vocational Nurses. This is a basic qualification that a nurse should have, if she wants to do a nursing job. These include measurement of vital signs when they are not in order. These nurses collect data of each patient regularly. They give medication and do other jobs. For advanced classes, they are trained in phlebotomy and medication administration. Common classes for LPN nurses include study of basics like mental health, adult health, anatomy, physiology and nutrition. Different institution offer online courses and LPN classes, you can avail this opportunity. This is actually a distant learning program but now people like these kinds of programs because of busy working hours and scarcity of time. Due to all these factors, they usually try to get as much as can through online courses. Many schools and hospitals also provide you this opportunity to cover your material in evening hours to late night hours so that you can carry your other jobs and can complete this nursing course too. You just need an internet connection and everything will be at your desktop. You can learn more things without getting interrupts from other people. These online courses may prove easy for you but they cannot be as helpful as does the practical LPN classes because you get much more to learn while you are on field.
