Fewer legislation enforcement officers died in the line of responsibility in 2010 than in previous years due to improvements in body armor, better coaching and fewer-lethal weapons.
A current report signifies that 153 regulation enforcement officers across the nation died within the line of duty, marking a continued downward pattern over the previous 30 years.
