Mantis Hipregrocker!!! Hip Hop, Rock And Reggae.

By: Roxxane Poppler

The long awaited album Hipregrocker is finally available and
shows that Mantis has prime quality musicianship
delivering an abundance of tasty
riffs and searing solos with in his
recordings, his music deviates from
the classic rock, incorporating
reggae, and hip-hop elements with
some electronic influences to
accompany his traditional model of
hybrid Fusion Music. His vocals are
stable and soulful. The album is
much more sonically and spiritually
vibrant than love take control his
debut album. In simple terms the
Album is THUNDEROUS....
Whereas going via the monitor record
as a listener, you'll be able to discern influences from artists like Bob Marley, linkin
Park, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Akon.... and so on but Mantis music will not leave the
listener feeling disdain for the lack of ingenuity, however instead leave you
appreciating his good sense in following this artists lead and creating his own
distinctive style.
The album features “World war 3” a song as likable as some tracks from Bob
Marley, or “Rock to di Riddim”, a Red Hot chilli Peppers influenced track or
Hipregrocker with a extra linkin Park approach. The single track Coming closer
encompasses a Steinway Grand piano with a violin alongside a persistent acoustic
nylon string guitar and a surprisingly husky sexy voice within the verses that is so
effective, down to the vocal hook, it additionally has a properly colored reggae guitar solo
in the bridge, and well positioned short harmonic brass melodies.
The Album Hipregrocker is scorching, dad-ass and need not be tamed, with tracks
like lions roar in verse two where Mantis says “Interest rates get hiked but we
still rebuild, surviving every falling GDP and recession, the IFM couldn’t even
pay for the session....” within the track “Cant you see” he says “wheres the Phero
when the knight gets killed sucking out your marrow like a stake on a grill...... "
while leaders just mislead, its a fight for power driven by greed....
The website www.hipregrocker.com has a very easy to use interface... permitting
you the possibility to listen to track previews before you buy... I love this
album and would refer it to anyone with a good musical taste.
