Pointers On Car Painting - Vehicle Information

Painting an auto well is what creates the whole artwork appear like it was completed by a pro. When I started drawing vehicles I focused too much on painting the motorcars right rather than observing at the dimensions of my vehicle painting. So before starting to shade and paint be certain that you are content with the vehicle's lines thus far, because when you begin shading and painting it will be very tough to alter any lines. So if you're perfectly sure, then let's begin shading the automobile.

One big point here is that you start at the top left corner (or top right corner if you're left-handed). This is because it reduces the risk of the motorcar paintings to get all unkempt. So start from the top corner! Think of how you want the whole picture to look, try to get a picture of it and then you go slowly, adding with your pencil to the background. If you wish reference photographs then go out front and get those, these will assist you not to mess up too much on the background proportions. Don't begin with the darkest area, instead, begin painting the brighter areas of the background of you vehicle paintings, and then go over to the duller parts gradually. Then when the upper corner is through, then start out painting the core area of the motorcar painting and stay with that part and then so on and so on.

A pointer for making the vehicle appear very well shaded off is to magnify the contrast. Where you wish it to be black, make sure to make it black and not some "grayishblack", this is a little trick many gifted creative person overlook. Same happens with the various shades on the car, going from dark to light, ensure to truly paint the dark portion dark and the light fields light.

And take note to have some breaks from your auto paintings, don't hasten it and try to get it all completed in an hour or so. Have a break after an hour or so and then go back later and you will more likely notice some little errors that you did not view while you were doing them! And my concluding pointer is the most important one: Ensure to have fun!
