One of the best fantasy series ever written is going to be Robin Hobb's Rain Wilds Chronicles series. Robin Hobb isn't any stranger to powerhouse series. Her Farseer and Tawny Man trilogies were truly fascinating and path breaking. Her use of complicated emotions and extremely sophisticated characterizations is unique. Simply like crystals, her characters have many sides that build us actually determine with them. Her writing style is beautiful and uncluttered and makes for some terribly straightforward reading. But her ideas are complicated and intellectually satisfying. Her characters could be straightforward and uncomplicated however she makes them do some wonderful things. Her previous series, the Soldier Son Trilogy, wasn't very satisfying. I assume one amongst the various traps in creating your characters all too human is to create them do silly emotional things with that some individuals might not identify. During this series, she explores strange themes of magical obesity and intense human weakness. However when some time, the dreariness makes the series a drag. You are feeling the ineptitude, incompetence and wretchedness of the main character and that's a cause for a few major frustration however she has redeemed herself with the Rain Wild Chronicles. This series begins where the Liveship Traders series left off. Tintaglia has successfully shepherded the sea serpents to the mouth of the Rain Wilds River and then will not build another appearance. The newly hatched dragons are malnourished and deformed. They have to be fed and brought care of by an unlikely band of human misfits. In the primary 2 books, the dragons are shows to possess their own internal struggles as they ask for out their long forgotten glory. The author explores themes of societal rejection and emotional longing. Her characters regain their multi-dimensional aspects and once again we see an incredible tale of journey and deep struggles. It is also regarding the struggles of a little lady and her friends. Thymara, who is the protagonist, may be a very little woman who is born with severe birth defects such as claws rather than hands. She is even a lot of deformed than the traditional scaly rain wilders and instead of being left to die when she is born, she is saved by her father. After all, there are various similarities between Thymara and therefore the dragons she is charged to require care of. That's what makes the series actually interesting. Once more, Hobb explores deep qualities of humanism and ostracism however what makes this series different from the forest mage trilogy is that there also are themes of friendship and love.
