We have placed magnificent emphasis on our nursery being ‘homelike’ for both our moms and dads and kids, providing your preschooler with the highest standard of childcare and education within a loving, safe and secure setting. We have a security intercom system which supports our safety procedure with the arrival and departure of the kids. Parents are asked to provide us with a password and a form of I. D for family and friends who will be collecting their preschooler from nursery. We have created, along with our dedicated employees, a happy and safe atmosphere with fantastic facilities for the children to explore in attractive and welcoming surroundings. We strongly encourage that every preschooler has a settling in period which is tailored to meet their individual needs. As every baby is unique we find that several children may need next to no time to settle into nursery life where as others may require a lengthy period of time. We recognize this and ensure that your preschooler is given the time and attention needed. We have the baby room for kids which features a play area with sleeping facilities and its own changing facilities. We follow the EYFS to support the growth and development of each baby. We have a designated Senco officer also as staff being trained in first assist and health and safety. A typical day will begin with welcoming the children and parents into the room from 7.30am. We serve breakfast and have plenty stimulating equipment to entertain. During the day we play with sensory toys and look at picture books together. We like to pay attention and make loads of noise to nursery rhymes also as get messy in creative activities such as hand and footprints that we can put up on the wall! After all of that we have a well earned nap and refresh ready for lunchtime. Afternoons we enjoy rolling around sitting up looking at what’s going on and several of us are practicing to stand up! After tea time we are getting ready to go home with mum or dad and get going to feel tired again from our busy day! We say our goodbye’s and can’t wait to come back tomorrow to do it all over again The Tweenie room is designed to cater for the mobile babies who are around 18mths and are on the move! Our room has been designed for the children to move around with ease additionally as enjoy exciting activites. A typical day consists of a breakfast which fuels us ready to burn off energy! We have a lot of free play activities that we can go for to do in addition as planned lessons like music time and art and craft. We love reading books, singing songs and playing with the sand and water. We enjoy exploring our physical play area where we climb up and down the climbing frame and in and beyond tunnels. After lunch we take a well earned nap ready for the afternoon. Our Pre School Room is where the children who are aged 2 – 5 years are based. We have designed the room with a free flow system. We want activities that are educational and stimulating for the kids and are able to prepare interest activities which can be performed in a group or a 1 to 1 basis. Kids have free access to the computer where they draw pictures using the paint programme and use a variety of educational programmes to enhance their learning. All activities and resources are readily available to the kids throughout the day. Children are given option and access play experiences freely, inspiring their curiosity and promoting their independence. Carers promote children’s learning within a stimulating surroundings which enables children’s progress towards the early learning goals. We celebrate all cultural festivals, and at Christmas time we encourage all the children to participate in a performance for parents. We find that the children enjoy the experience which in turn gives them greater confidence and self esteem. We have drinks and fresh fruit available throughout the day accessible to every youngster. We follow the EYFS curriculum and provide each kid with their own individual development folder where we collect employment, observe skills and promote their development ready for mainstream school. Curriculum areas we set out for the children include activities these kinds of as; Role play , Writing skills, Creative activities, I.C.T, Sand and Water, Math’s activities, Quiet Time and Outdoor Play.
