Most people get to a point in their day, week, year or even in their life, when they feel they cannot do any more than they are presently doing. They believe that they have reached their greatest output, they really are utilising all their time and energy, there is no more to produce, no more juice, this is as much as they can give to accomplishing their goals. They want to succeed, but within the limits of their abilities and resources. Fair enough. They feel there is no more time, energy, money or inspiration to drive more success. But then, some event arises where they need more. There's a NEED to produce more. There is no more time left, but your kid is ill and you need to take the day off for them. You haven't any energy, but you have a critical deadline and are driven to sacrifice sleep. You have no money, but a relative or friend desperately needs your assistance. So what do you do then? You move your priorities. The time you did not have, the energy that wasn't there, and the capital that wasn’t there, was produced. By you. Everybody has their own definition of personal success, and we make decisions every hour about where we allocate our resources, time and energy, determined by the things we want to accomplish in relation to our greater goals, our values and our drive to succeed in various areas of our lives. Each hour, we decide on how much we can give to reaching those goals. We determine if we can give 10%, 100% or 110%. We decide on our priorities, and allocate our resources on them. So listed here are some essential points to assess for yourself: What are your priorities? Where are your resources going? Could you create more resources? So, are your resources allocated to your priorities? But most importantly, are you able to produce more resources to serve your goals? At times I have thought that I was giving everything I had to realise my objectives. But I found that I often could do more. I found that I was able to not only allocate resources better, but create more of those resources! When I believed I had no time to exercise, I started to get up earlier (revelation, I know!). When I believed my online business was my absolute priority, I remembered that the reason I built this business is to raise my 2 young children at home (and that THEY are my absolute priority). When I believed I was tired, I brought a new focus to my health, made some vital changes in my habits and routine, and produced more energy for myself. Usually, the answer is in shifting your resources to better serve and reflect your priorities. What do you think? Do you shift and re-allocate your resources to serve your priorities better? Can you give more to achieve your goals through this process? Are you spending time, energy and money on things that simply don’t serve your online business, your individual success, your purpose, your passion?
