Thrill Seeker

By: Armin Spangis

Reading, or rather, following a good story line never fails to amaze and intrigue people. It seems there is something almost magical to it. This one started as the late fall of 2009 drew into a cold winter crackling its way, and spreading it's cold grip across the nothern hemisphere of the planet. People of the capitol of Norway were drawing indoors for shelter. You'd find us comfortably snuggled up in our couches, flipping through the channels of our cable connected flatscreens, or comfortably seated in our favorite chair facing the soothing flames of a fireplace with a nice book, in a room streamed with incense and beaming temperate music creating an ambience. In short, we were escaping the cold grip, and with our minds, snuggling up inside our imagination.

Having explored his home islands of Fiji, the young writer made up his mind to widen his universe. So he buckeled up and commenced his worldwide exploration. You'll have the chance to get to know him and his encounters of life better later. Suffice to say, his journey being full of perils and pitfalls, our writer found him self marooned in a cold gripped wintery city of Oslo. It proved most productive. His name is Matthew Quentin and he is the creator of the character called Constant Falter. Using his own experiences our young Mr.Quentin is delivering stories that is becoming somewhat of a phenomenon, his stories being more than just words.

Having a nose for the strangely intriguing and his vivid imagination The Queen of Dreams renders Constant Falter her Thrill Seeker. With The Great White Galaxy set in some other gleamy steampunk universe, our hero is out riding comets one minute, and rescuing damstrells in distress, from over-galantryfied selfcentered knights the next. In our world, artists of all creeds are currently working on interpreting Matthew's stories in their own medium. Already there is Photos and paintings, music, movies and even costumes inspired by The Misadventures of Constant Falter, being created. This wide spread of art in the making, really gives The Great White Galaxy of Matthew's stories a life of its own.

Some of these magnificent works of art will be showned to the public in exhibitions across the globe. The first one held the 3rd of July 2010 at Gallery View in Oslo. You'll have the chance to meet both the author and other artists participating in this project. You'll find valuables like original drafts and first sketches of this new found Great White Galaxy displayed for a whole month. So if you're in Oslo sometime during July we invite you to take a look at the initial Artworks of the Constant Falter Project, up close and personal.
